Program Description The BS in Coaching program is a 39 hour program. In a student’s final year of study, they will complete a 50-hour practicum in a sport-instruction setting.

As a student in this program, you'll have opportunities to:
- apply FITT principles in the development of a training plan;
- demonstrate proficient performance in a variety of sport skills;
- evaluate the performance of others in a psychomotor domain;
- identify/perform effective teaching/coaching techniques in an authentic setting;
- present strategies for the inclusion of the disabled in sport settings; and
- demonstrate the skills of First Aid, CPR, and AED.
