BS Sport Management TUG
Program Description
As a Sport Management major at Gardner-Webb, you will receive instruction in management, business, communications, social ethics, governance, and leadership principles uniquely and specifically related to the field of sport management from professors that have their doctorates in Sport Management.
In addition to the University’s required general education and prerequisites, the Bachelor of Science in Sport Management includes 54 hours of Sport Management coursework. Since Sport Management encompasses a broad umbrella within sport, it allows students to major, minor, or double major in their specific area of interest in the sport industry.
Coupled with classroom studies rooted in Christian ethics, you will apply your education in internships that will help you build professional contacts, prepare for the future and earn academic credit.
When you graduate, you will be equipped with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and prepared to take on a sport management career in the field that interests you most.
This degree plan is an example of student progression through the program. Academic departments reserve the right to alter the term in which a course is offered.
