BA Journalism - Broadcast Journalism Concentration - TUG

Program Description


The Journalism program allows students to focus their professional preparation in one of three concentrations: Broadcast Journalism, News Editorial, or Photojournalism. The program emphasizes writing, reporting, digital production, and ethical journalism.

 

This degree plan is an example of student progression through the program. Academic departments reserve the right to alter the term in which a course is offered.

  2. a full range of writing and editing processes and apply those skills in both print and non-print media; and
  3. practical skills in information gathering and reporting by covering special events and designated news beats.
