BS Biochemistry - TUG

Gardner-Webb University’s Biochemistry Program will provide you with comprehensive and rigorous instruction in the foundational areas of the chemical & biological sciences.  We are dedicated to providing a learning environment where our students receive outstanding instruction and mentoring within the context of a Christian liberal arts college.  Our department is devoted to preparing majors for their career objectives following graduation in industry, graduate or professional schools, or other related fields.

Program Description Students in the Biochemistry major take 62 credit hours in the major.  Many pursue internships, either through the department or independently.  Some choose a minor in addition to the major.  Biochemistry prepares students for medical, dental, PA, or pharmacy school and other healthcare-related careers, as well as research, academic, and industrial positions.

This degree plan is an example of student progression through the program. Academic departments reserve the right to alter the term in which a course is offered.
