Program Description


The Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design prepares students for careers in creative industries by providing a foundation in visual communication, digital media, and design principles. Students gain experience in print and digital design, typography, web publishing, and portfolio development, supported by coursework in studio art and communication.

Students majoring in Graphic Design will:

  • demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of visual communication;
  •  demonstrate an understanding of the theoretical foundations of Design and Communication;
  • demonstrate an understanding of the legal and ethical foundations of Communication; and
  • demonstrate adequate entry-level professional skills in graphic design.
