NURS 783 Psych Mental Health Management II

The focus of this course is on examining and understanding key concepts in the diagnosis and management of psychiatric disorders and mental health problems in individuals, with emphasis on pediatric and adolescent populations. Techniques for the management of mental health problems in individuals will include both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions for clients. Emphasis is placed on differentiating signs and symptoms to formulate possible diagnoses and appropriate treatment planning development.
