NURS 780 Psychopharmacology

Focuses on the physiological and behavioral effects of the major classes of psychoactive drugs used across the lifespan including therapeutic agents and drugs of abuse, including their therapeutic indications, mechanisms of action, and side effects. Additional emphasis is on neuroscientific and neurobiological knowledge integrated in psychopharmacological decision-making and treatment modifications to provide optimum patient care.
