EDUC 252 Applying Principles of Effective Teaching and Learning
Teachers today are expected to not only plan research-based lessons and engage students in instruction using research-based methods but also to assess instruction while it is happening. After planning, teaching and assessing, teachers must provide relevant and specific feedback to students aligned to the assessment data. Assessment and feedback are required to ensure students are continually learning and growing. The purpose of this course is to reinforce the requirements of effective student learning, including the vocabulary, research skills, technical writing, data collection, analysis and feedback. The College of Education recommends all licensure candidates take this course.
