BS Human Services - Online
Gardner-Webb University's BS Human Services Program online will provide you with a solid foundation in the principles, theories, and skills needed to provide services as a human services practitioner and helping professional. By the end of the program, students will have the ability to relate to consumers on multiple levels.
Students can transfer up to 90 credits into the program; the last 30 credits must be completed at Gardner-Webb. You will earn your degree following the successful completion of 120 credit hours, which includes 60 credit hours of HUS courses.
HUS 201 and HUS 206 are prerequisite courses for the program. These courses will need to be added to the degree plan if not taken previously or transferred in. Adjustments may be needed to the degree plan based on transfer credits.
This degree plan is an example of student progression through the program. The degree consists of a major field of concentration in the liberal arts or in a professional or pre-professional area, a General Education program, and elective courses. This example degree plan focuses Years 1 & 2 on the General Education program and Year 3 on the Major/Minor areas. It is recommended for students to incorporate Major/Minor courses into Years 1 & 2 as much as possible.
