NUR 363 Maternal/Child Nursing Practicum

This course offers a clinical focus on nursing care of the childbearing family. Clinical skills are applied to the care of children and childbearing families in a variety of community and acute care settings. Course concepts include human growth and development, nutrition and pharmacology, health promotion and maintenance, evidence-based practice, patient centered care, and alterations in health from conception to childbearing.
