NUR 342 Adult Health I Lab

This course provides the opportunity to apply theory-based practice in a simulation laboratory setting. Scenarios are utilized to encourage the student's critical thinking skills, interpretation of laboratory data, pharmacology, pathophysiology, use of informatics, and demonstration of clinical skills. Students are guided in planning, selecting, and implementing therapeutic nursing interventions to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of clients. Class hours: 3; Clinical hours: 0; Semester hours: 1.
