CJC 310 Interviews and Interrogations
This course will provide instruction to students so they will be able to recognize the process by which those interviewed can deceive and how deception can be detected. The goal of this course is to provide guidance to students so they will be able to recognize during an interrogation, or in any situation where a person with information might be uncooperative, will affect a transition in willingness- either ethically or legally. This instruction will guide students to conduct a successful interrogation, when this process becomes an interview, and when the subject reveals willingness to yield details freely and honestly. In order to initial this transition, the students will be taught that the interrogator/interviewer must understand the subject's motivation, the basics of effective inquiry, and techniques of ethical and legal persuasion. This course demonstrates to students the fundamentals of inquiry.
