CJC 301 Leadership in Public Service

Whether in case management, individual client interaction, or community engagement, helping professionals serve as leaders and advocates.  This course explores the core principles of leadership within the public service profession, including self-management, organizational management, and resource development.  Students will gain knowledge regarding the theoretical framework of leadership and address methods in which leadership is demonstrated such as organizational mission, goal development, client commitment, holistic consideration, and ethical practice.
