Chemistry Minor

CHEM 111 General Chemistry I is a prerequisite course for CHEM 112 and should be taken as part of the General Education requirements by students interested in a Chemistry minor. General Chemistry II (CHEM 112) is prerequisite course for CHEM 201.

Required Courses (16 hours)

CHEM 201	Organic Chemistry I	4
CHEM 202	Organic Chemistry II	4
	Two 300-level or above CHEM electives	8

Students may choose any two four-hour chemistry courses at the 300-level or above to satisfy the chemistry electives of the minor.

Total Credit Hours: 16

Note: Due to overlap in course requirements, this minor is not suitable for Chemistry (either general or Medical Sciences track) or Biochemistry majors.
