PHYS 111 General Physics I

The first of a two-semester general physics sequence intended for pre-professional school students and/or non-science majors. This course and PHYS 112 are designed to be taken in order. Topics include classical mechanics and kinematics, Newton's Laws and forces of gravity, energy, thermodynamics, and simple harmonic motion. Lab included.  Note: Chemistry and Biochemistry majors must take PHYS 203 and PHYS 204, not PHYS 111 and PHYS 112.
