NURS 441 Nursing Care of the Older Adult
This course introduces the dimensions of caring for the older adult with evidence-based application of knowledge. Normal and pathological changes of aging, commonly encountered diseases of aging, and the broad psychosocial, cultural, and public health knowledge required to provide expert nursing care to the older adult are included. The course emphasizes providing critical information needed to engage in the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, and evaluating outcomes of care.
