CEDU 610 Counseling Theories
This course offers an overview of historical, traditional, and current evidence-based approaches to counseling which includes analysis of the philosophical, practical, and culturally responsive aspects of various theoretical approaches. Students will begin to formulate a personal model of counseling, will use theory as a framework for understanding case conceptualization, and will learn specific techniques associated with each theory.
