The Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Healthcare Management, offered through Gardner-Webb’s Broyhill Undergraduate School of Management, provides a fully-accredited baccalaureate degree for those wishing to pursue a career in Healthcare Management. Healthcare Management is designed to prepare individuals who have a health-related and/or business education background to assume positions in healthcare management and to recognize and to respond to the emerging health needs of a changing society.
Program Learning Outcomes
To accomplish the mission of the Godbold College of Business, students completing an undergraduate program in Healthcare Management will be able to:
1. Develop critical thinking skills in healthcare management that are vital for success in an entry level professional career.
2. Develop soft skills in healthcare management that are vital for success in an entry level professional career.
3. Demonstrate technological skills in business that are useful for entry level healthcare management.
4. Demonstrate knowledge of healthcare management in a dynamic global marketplace.
5. Examine business ethical standards in healthcare management derived from a Christian foundation.
