PADM 401 Public Policy for Public Service Officials

The core values of public service officials are rooted in the public policy and the way that it is implemented through their various positions in the public administration fields.  It is imperative that students of public administration understand and implement those policies correctly and ethically.  This course will explore fundamental reasons that scholars, students, and citizens should be educated about public policy.  The policy choices that public administrators make affect the lives of citizens now and in the future.  Through the study of public policy, students will gain an understanding of why our forefathers created government with public policies to maintain law, order, and to uphold justice.
