PREX 403 Service Learning
Service-Learning programs are distinguished from other approaches to experiential education. These programs are intended to benefit the provider and the recipient equally and equal focus is given to service to learning. Programs must have a solid academic context and design to ensure both the recipient and the provider are enhanced and inspired through the project. The experience requires a supervisor and the approval of the Service-Learning Advisory Council and the Office of Christian Life and Service. Submitting the PRE Student Application initiates the process of registering for this Professional Readiness Experience.
Prerequisites
One service-related courses that require at least 10 hours of service and assessment of that service.
