HUSV 411 Applied Psychopathology
This course provides a survey and analysis of the major psychological disorders, as well as theoretical, clinical, and experimental perspectives on the study of psychopathology. This course also examines the influence of multicultural factors on the understanding of psychological disorders. Students will be expected to apply course content to the analysis of actual clinical cases. Upon completion, students should be able to distinguish between normal and abnormal behavior patterns as well as demonstrate knowledge of etiology, symptoms, and therapeutic techniques. In addition, students should be able to apply treatment planning options for pathological disorders in case vignettes.
