Student Learning Outcomes
- Sociology majors will demonstrate the ability to identify major social institutions and their impact on each other;
- Sociology majors will demonstrate the ability to compare and contrast classical, modern and postmodern social theory;
- Sociology majors will demonstrate the ability to create an independent research project; and
- Sociology majors will demonstrate the ability to evaluate the role of race, class and gender in life chances.

Additional Requirements for Transfer Majors
All students transferring under the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement must complete HIST 101 and HIST 102 as part of the General Education curriculum.
