PHYS 203 General Physics for Scientists and Engineers I

This course is the first of a two-semester general physics sequence intended for all science, mathematics, and computer science majors. This course and PHYS 204 are designed to be taken in order. Topics include classical mechanics and kinematics, Newton's Laws and forces, gravity, energy, Einstein's theory of special relativity, and an introduction to electrostatics. Lab included. (Lab fee.)
