PHYS 111 General Physics I

The first of a two-semester general physics sequence intended for pre-professional school students and/or non-science majors. This course and PHYS 112 are designed to be taken in order. Topics include classical mechanics and kinematics, Newton's Laws and forces of gravity, energy, thermodynamics, and Einstein's theory of special relativity. Lab included. (Lab fee.)
