GEOL 101 Physical Geology

Survey of the distributions, processes of formation, alteration, and transportation of materials composing the earth. The composition and basic identification of common minerals and rocks, the use of geologic and topographic maps, and environmental issues are considered. Lab included. (Lab fee.)
