NURS 800 Interprofessional Collaboration Practicum - APRN
Students will have an opportunity to experience other healthcare professional settings that are essential adjuncts to primary care practice. Special emphasis will be placed on immersion experiences with other healthcare professionals to whom primary care providers may refer or collaborate with. The purpose of the immersion is to expand student knowledge of other healthcare professions and the role they play in the greater healthcare collaborative process, as well as how nurse practitioners can include these professions in the healthcare team.
