ACCT 618 Accounting Analytics

In this contemporary world, accounting specialists are using analytics to deliver data-driven insights to shareholders and decision-making process. The course will teach students how to be critical about leveraging accounting data to make more reasonable accounting judgments. Software applications will be adopted in practice to generate an analytics mindset by transforming raw data into a workable data set for better communication, risk assessment, and decision-making.
