ECON 832 Advanced Economic Strategies for Decision Making

Economic interdependence among nations has increased sharply in the past decade. This course provides students with the theoretical and institutional knowledge needed to understand the impact of culture, global politics, economic systems, and institutions on the nations. The course examines the interaction between public policies and private-sector decision making and investment. Patterns of global trade, investment, and financial flows are analyzed and used in a decision making process. International institutions that play a key role in the economic integration process are studied.
